Our Ethos
Ecodelic Therapy Collective blends Psychedelic Assisted and Nature Informed therapies together due to their natural synthesis.
We recognize that we are nature, everything we experience is an aspect of nature, and creating threads to the natural world combined with psychedelic medicine offers a way to guide you through reality. With that, you can access healing and a greater appreciation for this lived experience.
We acknowledge the history of psychedelic medicine and Indigenous peoples as the Caretakers, Healers, Shamans of these plant medicines.
We acknowledge a worldwide ancient history of connecting to the natural world while most recent studies to promote Ecotherapy begun by the Japanese with Forest Bathing practices.
We respect and honor our own ancestors and cultural background as BIPOC women living in the United States and feel honored to share our own wisdom and practices with those we work with.
With that acknowledgement we practice reverence, respect, responsibility, restoration, and reciprocity in our therapeutic practices.
We are not made to exist in many of the spaces we spend most of our time in modern society. Our bodies (including our minds) evolved to exist in the natural world.
This is why we prioritize the importance of being nature informed as its own form of therapy and as an ally to psychedelic assisted therapy. We offer unique ways to experience healing that feel safe and contained, with room to be messy, wild and free.
We believe that integrating nature and psychedelic interventions in therapy can promote levels of healing that expand past traditional models of mental health treatment.
